Privacy
You decide what's findable.
Imfindable is built around one rule: nothing about you is visible to the public — or to AI search tools — until you explicitly publish it. Here's exactly how that works.
Nothing is public until you publish
When you sign up, your profile is in draft. It is not indexed, not linked from sitemaps, not in our llms.txt feed, and not visible at imfindable.com/your-name. You preview, edit, and only when you click Publish does it become discoverable.
What's public once you publish
Only fields a recruiter would expect on a public résumé: your name, headline, city-level location, professional summary, skills, work experience, and education. You can additionally toggle off your headshot, exact location, employer names, and years-of-experience from the dashboard under Display & Privacy — each control takes effect immediately.
What's never public — ever
Your email address, phone number, exact street address, date of birth, raw resume text, and internal moderation notes are never exposed on your profile, in structured data (JSON-LD), in our llms.txt feed, or via our public API. They are protected at the database level — not just hidden in the UI — and we audit this with row-level security rules so even a determined visitor cannot pull them out of the system.
How recruiters reach you
Recruiters never see your email. They submit a message through a gated contact form on your profile; you see it in your dashboard and decide whether to reply. You can also opt in to receiving intros from David / the High Caliber AI network, or to having your public LinkedIn link shown — both are off by default and toggleable in Display & Privacy.
AI training & indexing
Your raw resume text is stored only so you can regenerate your profile later. It is never sold, never used to train third-party models, and never shown publicly. Your published profile content, by design, is intended to be read and cited by AI search tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini — that's the whole point of Imfindable. You can turn off LLM indexing at any time by toggling noindex in your dashboard.
Pause or unpublish anytime
Pause keeps your profile listed for owners/admins but disables the public page and contact form. Unpublish removes you from search engines, our sitemap, and the llms.txt feed entirely. Both take effect immediately.
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — profile, variants, citation history, contact messages, analytics — from Account Settings in your dashboard. Deletion is immediate and not reversible.
