Terms of Service

Plain English where we can. The legal-sounding parts are there because they need to be.

1. Who we are

Imfindable is a service operated by High Caliber AI ("we", "us", "Imfindable"), founded by David Berkowitz. Reach us at david@imfindable.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. What the service does

Imfindable helps job seekers publish AI-discoverable profiles so they can be cited by LLMs (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Mode, etc.) when recruiters ask who to hire. You upload information about yourself, we structure it, and we publish it as a public profile that's optimized for both search engines and AI retrieval.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to use Imfindable.
  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • One person per account. Don't share or sell access.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your settings or by emailing us.

4. Your content

You own what you write. By publishing a profile on Imfindable you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, index, and surface that content to search engines, AI assistants, and human visitors — for the purpose of running the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account (with a short retention window for backups and abuse review).

You promise that everything you publish is accurate, is yours to share, and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or violate any law. Misrepresenting your identity, experience, or credentials is grounds for removal.

5. AI discoverability — what you're opting into

The whole point of Imfindable is that your profile is designed to be read and cited by AI systems. That means:

  • We expose machine-readable versions of your profile (structured data, llms.txt) so AI crawlers can use them.
  • We don't control how third-party AI assistants (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, etc.) use, cite, or paraphrase your profile.
  • We can't guarantee any specific AI will cite you, any specific recruiter will see you, or any specific outcome.
  • You can pause or unpublish your profile at any time, and we'll de-index it from our pages quickly — but cached copies in third-party AI systems may persist for some time after.

6. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • Impersonate someone else or publish a profile for a person who hasn't consented.
  • Spam recruiters or other users through the contact form.
  • Try to game the AI citation system with hidden keywords, fake credentials, or prompt injection.
  • Scrape the site, abuse the API, or attempt to deanonymize private contact data.
  • Upload anything illegal, harassing, defamatory, or hateful.

We reserve the right to remove content or accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

7. Recruiter contact

Visitors can reach you through a gated contact form. Your email address is never exposed publicly. You choose whether and when to respond. Don't use messages received through Imfindable to send unsolicited marketing.

8. Pricing & beta access

Pricing during the beta is governed by the Founding-50 Terms if applicable to you. Outside of that program, we may introduce paid plans in the future. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before any change that affects you.

9. Service availability

We work hard to keep Imfindable up, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that specific features will continue to exist. We may add, change, or remove features at any time — for material changes that affect you, we'll give reasonable notice.

10. Termination

You can stop using Imfindable and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your account is dormant for an extended period (12+ months), or if we wind down the service. On termination, your published profile is de-indexed from our pages.

11. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Imfindable and High Caliber AI are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including lost opportunities, missed job offers, or damages from how third-party AI systems cite or describe you. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of $100 or the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we'll notify active users by email and post the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

14. Contact

Questions, complaints, takedown requests, or anything else — email david@imfindable.com. We read every message.
